How does it work?
Choose your photos: one, or up to 60 at once, from your phone or computer.
Set the result: format (JPG, WebP, PNG), quality, maximum dimensions or maximum file size.
Download each photo, or all of them at once in a .zip file.
Your photos never leave your device
Most compression websites upload your photos to their servers. Here, everything is done by your browser: your photos are never sent over the internet. As a bonus, hidden information (GPS location, phone model) is removed from the files created.
An iPhone photo (HEIC) that won’t open?
iPhones save photos in HEIC format, which Windows and many websites can’t read. Choose them here: they are converted to JPG, readable everywhere.
Frequently asked questions
Is the photo cropped?
No. The photo is shrunk to fit inside the chosen frame, without being cut or stretched. For an exact square, crop it on your phone first.
Are my photos sent to a server?
No. They are processed in your browser, on your device. You can even switch off the internet once the page has loaded.
Is the photo enlarged if it’s smaller than the chosen size?
No. The tool only shrinks: a small photo keeps its dimensions so it doesn’t get blurry.
Which format should I choose?
JPG for photos (readable everywhere), WebP for a website (lighter for the same quality), PNG for logos and screenshots with text or transparency.
