How does it work?
Choose your photos: one, or up to 60 at once, from your phone or computer.
Set the result: format (JPG, WebP, PNG), quality, maximum dimensions or maximum file size.
Download each photo, or all of them at once in a .zip file.
Your photos never leave your device
Most compression websites upload your photos to their servers. Here, everything is done by your browser: your photos are never sent over the internet. As a bonus, hidden information (GPS location, phone model) is removed from the files created.
An iPhone photo (HEIC) that won’t open?
iPhones save photos in HEIC format, which Windows and many websites can’t read. Choose them here: they are converted to JPG, readable everywhere.
Frequently asked questions
Why are my iPhone photos in HEIC?
Since iOS 11, the iPhone saves photos in HEIC format, which is lighter than JPG. Many Windows programs and websites can’t read it yet.
How do I avoid HEIC on my iPhone?
In Settings › Camera › Formats, choose “Most Compatible”: new photos will be saved as JPG.
Are my photos sent to a server?
No. They are processed in your browser, on your device. You can even switch off the internet once the page has loaded.
